The Seedbomb Project!

Hey there, we've partnered with Greenaid and their fantastic Seedbomb project:

"Made from a mixture of clay, compost, and seeds, "seedbombs" are becoming an increasingly popular means combating the many forgotten grey spaces we encounter everyday-from sidewalk cracks to vacant lots and parking medians.
They can be thrown anonymously into these derelict urban sites to temporarily reclaim and transform them into places worth looking at and caring for."-GreenAid

Come check out the adapted re-use gumball machine (we love it!) outside our truck when we public vend and get a wildflower seedbomb for 50 cents! All they need is sun and water to transform a barren landscape into a green space :)

the PaySaber!

So we now have this handy-dandy device called the PaySaber that is a mobile credit card scanner and printer for the iPhone and iPod Touch! Not only can we take credit cards, but we can process transactions online and take inventory with this thing! It's crazy! We recommend all our fellow food-truckers look into it ;)

Taking it to the Streets

We'll be "Taking it to the Streets" this Saturday @ Meltdown Comics from 7-10pm. Art, music, street food...what more could you ask for? All food donations will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank! Learn more at Viva La Foodies and LA Street Food.

Mattel + Coolhaus = Happy Holidays in Toy Land!

We were pleased to be invited to Mattel's "Snow-tastic Launch Party" and see their fantastic and festive designs and animation.

There was plenty of good cheer and hot chocolate to go around- plus our yummy seasonal flavors like pumpkin, roasted pear with nutmeg, and white russian- yum!

One of the things we love about the Farchitecture/Coolhaus concept is the opportunity to share our passion for Architecture and Design. By naming our sammies after Architects and Architectural themes, we get to bring our idols and language into the mainstream dialogue!
